What They Wanted
Carlingford West Public School's P&C came to us with a big brief: student-friendly music and high energy for around 1,850 students at their autumn event on the school grounds. With a crowd that size, they needed a dependable open-format DJ who could read the room, take the school's lead on content and keep the celebration moving from start to finish.
How We Planned It
Before the day, your dedicated event manager gets to work. We built the run sheet around the moments that mattered; liaised with Carlingford West Public School on bump-in, power and finish times; and agreed a content-managed, student-safe playlist with clean edits plus a request process the staff were comfortable with. From our 75-strong team we matched the right DJ to the brief, with licences and insurance covered, and locked everything in during the week of the event.
What We Delivered
Come event day, we rolled in with the full rig, PA, lighting, wireless microphones and backup gear, loaded in and sound-checked well before anyone walked in. With no fixed playlist, our DJ read the floor on the day and pulled the right tracks at the right moments, keeping every song clean and age-appropriate. With around 1,850 students on site, that is no small feat, yet the energy held from the first song to the last.
