What They Wanted
The school came to us to run the music at Palladium at Crown for around 750 students at their spring valedictory dinner. The goal was straightforward: a professional setup that suited a room of that scale, and an open-format DJ who could keep the energy right all night for a graduating year group.
How We Planned It
This is where our planning process kicks in. Your dedicated event manager talked through the run sheet and the moments that mattered; liaised with Palladium at Crown on bump-in, power and finish times; and agreed a content-managed, student-safe playlist and request process with staff. Then we matched the DJ best suited to a room of that size from our 75-strong team, with licences and insurance covered, and confirmed the run of the night well in advance.
What We Delivered
Come event day, we rolled in with the full rig, PA, lighting, wireless microphones and backup gear, loaded in and tested well before anyone walked in, with a full sound check before doors. With no fixed playlist, our DJ read the floor on the night and pulled the right tracks at the right moments. For a graduating cohort that size, clean edits, age-appropriate music and a tight run sheet kept the whole night moving, and with around 750 students in the room, the floor stayed busy from the first song to the last.
