Well, how things have changed. The landscape for DJing in Sydney, and around Australia, has shifted, and in an incredibly short space of time. Will things ever be the same? We’re not sure. However, as the government slowly eases restrictions across the nation, we will slowly commence operating again.
As part of our ongoing commitment to safety, and to play our part in stopping the spread of the novel coronavirus, Star DJ Hire has created a COVID-19 Safety Plan.
When we recommence with events, we will be providing COVID-19 hygiene packs to our team. These will include sanitisers, disinfectants, and other products to ensure we maintain hygiene at all times.
Here’s what we’re doing to stop the spread of COVID-19
Practice good hygiene
We won’t be shaking hands, but instead will be using non-contact greeting methods, like nodding our head. We’ll make sure we’re having fun while doing so.
We will clean hands at the door and schedule regular hand washing reminders
We will disinfect surfaces in our DJ area and surroundings when arriving and setting up, and throughout our event
We will avoid touching our face and remember to cover our coughs and sneezes
We will increase ventilation by opening windows or adjusting air conditioning where possible at our events
Limit meetings face to face meetings
We will use video conferencing and telephone calls instead of face- to-face meetings for consultations
Immediate notification
We will immediately notify our team if we are feeling sick, or have a sick family member, so we can change the roster as necessary

We are encouraging all Star DJ Hire staff download the COVIDSafe app to ensure we can assist in the governments speedy contact tracing strategy for contacting people exposed to COVID-19. This will help us support and protect you, your friends and family and the greater community

Outbreaks are a stressful and anxious time for everyone. We’re providing support to our team to ensure they have someone to chat to if, and when required.
