This week, we share with you, our experience with providing DJ services for a Sydney-based food truck – Sticky Pork. When we were asked to be part of something a little different, we got curious, really curious. They asked us to DJ on the roof of their shipping container, which houses their entire shop! We obviously said yes and couldn’t wait for this collaboration.
First, a little about them. Sticky Pork provides mouth-watering food including ribs (that fall off the bone!), chips and other goodies! All of this through their relocatable shipping container. For this unique event, we used 2 speakers, 2 moving heads and trusses with par can for the DJ table. The lights worked a treat as the container’s smoke chimney acted as a smoke machine for us – check it out all in action on our Facebook or Instagram pages. We’ve included some photos also below.
The night started with a cruisey vibe, accompanied by some deep house music. As more and more guests arrived, we played everything house to RNB. Sticky Pork sold out after only a few hours – a huge compliment to the quality of their food and service. Note to self: ensure to arrive early next time to avoid disappointment! We were stoked to be part of this event and cannot wait for the next one – will we see you there?
