What They Wanted
The couple were planning their spring wedding at the Samuel Copley Room in Perth and needed a DJ and MC who could read the room from the first arrival to the final song. The ask was a dependable DJ who could follow the crowd, keep the celebration moving and stretch the night out with an extended set.
How We Planned It
Before the night, your dedicated event manager gets to work. We talked through the run sheet and the moments that mattered; mapped the key formalities, grand entrance, first dance and speeches; captured their must-play and do-not-play preferences; and liaised with the Samuel Copley Room on bump-in, power and finish times. The right open-format DJ for the brief was assigned, and every detail was confirmed in the days beforehand.
What We Delivered
Come event day, we rolled in with the full rig, PA, lighting, wireless microphones and backup gear, loaded in and sound-checked well before anyone walked in. Our DJ read the room and built the set live, following the crowd from the first track and lifting the tempo as the spring evening warmed up. With the extra hours added on, the party ran long and finished on a high. The floor stayed busy from the first song to the last, and the feedback afterwards said it all.
