What They Wanted
The couple came to us for a wedding DJ at Mitchelton Wines, a spring winery celebration for around 170 guests. They needed seamless cover from the ceremony right through to the reception, one team handling the music for every chapter of the day, and they'd booked an extended set so the party could run past the usual finish.
How We Planned It
Before the night, your dedicated event manager gets to work. We talked through the run sheet and the moments that mattered; mapped the key formalities, grand entrance, first dance and speeches; planned the transitions from ceremony through to reception; and liaised with Mitchelton Wines on bump-in, power and finish times. Then we matched the open-format DJ best suited to the room from our 75-strong team and confirmed the run of the night well in advance.
What We Delivered
Come event day, we rolled in with the full rig, PA, lighting, wireless microphones and backup gear, loaded in and sound-checked well before anyone walked in. With no fixed playlist, our DJ read the floor on the night and pulled the right tracks at the right moments for a crowd of around 170. With the extra hours added on, the party ran long and finished on a high. Travel and logistics to the winery were handled by our team end to end.
