What They Wanted
The couple were planning their wedding at Inglewood Inn in Adelaide and needed a DJ and MC who could read the room across a warm summer evening. Musically they leaned 90s/00s and current hits, a floor of throwbacks and singalongs balanced against the songs everyone knows right now.
How We Planned It
Every booking gets its own event manager, and this one was no exception. We talked through the run sheet and the moments that mattered; mapped the key formalities, grand entrance, first dance and speeches; built their must-play and do-not-play lists into the plan; and liaised with Inglewood Inn on bump-in, power and finish times. The right DJ for the brief was assigned, and every detail was confirmed in the days beforehand.
What We Delivered
Come event day, we rolled in with the full rig, PA, lighting, wireless microphones and backup gear, loaded in and sound-checked well before anyone walked in. Our DJ worked 90s/00s and current hits into one seamless set, reading the summer crowd and holding the energy through the formalities. The result was a packed floor all night and a couple who'd book us again in a heartbeat.
