What They Wanted
The host came to us to run the music for an 18th birthday at a private Melbourne home for around 40 guests across a winter evening. The ask was a dependable DJ who could read a young crowd, keep the celebration moving and bring everything needed to turn a living space into a dancefloor.
How We Planned It
This is where our planning process kicks in. Your dedicated event manager talked through the run sheet and the moments that mattered, took down the must-play and do-not-play lists, and planned the setup, power and finish times for the space. Then we matched the DJ best suited to the room and confirmed the run of the night well in advance.
What We Delivered
We arrived early and set up everything we bring as standard: sound, lighting, wireless microphones and backup gear, all checked before the first guests walked in. Our DJ read the room and built the set live, following the crowd from the first track and keeping the winter chill well outside. With around 40 guests in the house, the floor stayed busy from the first song to the last.
