What They Wanted
The host was throwing a 50th birthday at Southern Cross Club Woden and wanted the dancefloor packed for around 120 guests on a spring evening. Musically they leaned 70s/80s and rock classics, the anthems a 50th crowd belts out together.
How We Planned It
This is where our planning process kicks in. Your dedicated event manager talked through the run sheet and the moments that mattered, built the must-play list around those 70s/80s and rock favourites, and liaised with Southern Cross Club Woden on bump-in, power and finish times. Then we matched the DJ best suited to the room and confirmed the run of the night well in advance.
What We Delivered
On the night, we delivered our full DJ package, sound, lighting, wireless microphones and decks, set up and sound-checked before guests arrived. Our DJ worked 70s/80s and rock classics into one seamless set, pacing the big singalongs across the evening so the energy never dipped. With around 120 guests in the room, the floor stayed busy from the first song to the last.
