What They Wanted
For an engagement party at The Edinburgh Hotel, the couple wanted the night to feel like a proper celebration for around 50 guests on an autumn evening. Musically they leaned 70s/80s and 90s/00s, songs the whole room would know.
How We Planned It
Every booking gets its own dedicated event manager, and this one was no exception. We talked through the run sheet and the moments that mattered, took the must-play and do-not-play lists, and liaised with The Edinburgh Hotel on bump-in, power and finish times. Then we matched the DJ best suited to the room and confirmed the run of the night well in advance.
What We Delivered
On the night, we delivered our full DJ package, sound, lighting, wireless microphones and decks, set up and sound-checked before guests arrived, with backup gear on standby. Our DJ blended 70s/80s and 90s/00s into one seamless set built for singing along. With around 50 guests in the room, the dancefloor filled early and stayed full.
